Audeum computer (3.0 Ghz Intel Dual Core, 3 GB RAM, 80 GB system HD, 320 GB data HD) using RME Digiface interface, Apogee AD/DA converters. Outboard gear including mic preamps, compressors, EQ's and reverb units.

Platform:
Audeum optimized Win XP, Cubase 4, Adobe Audition 3, Universal Audio UAD-1 plug-ins.

I was introduced to Ladia Svajcik (Audeum Computers) several months ago. I consider myself functionally computer literate and have built several home audio computers to support my project studio. I immediately sensed a passion for studio audio backed by tremendous computer experience after only a few minutes chatting with Ladia. I made a mental note to consider an Audeum system when it came time for an upgrade.

That time recently came and I met with Ladia and he helped me spec out the system that would best suit my needs. I was able to pick up my computer at the Audeum office and Ladia personally demonstrated my system. I was immediately impressed by the level of workmanship and attention to detail in the assembly of the computer. Ladia optimized Win XP and the hardware to be a lean, mean, audio machine. I am amazed how much faster the system feels compared to my homegrown PC. The system easily handles multiple tracks at 24 bit, 96 KHz data rates without breaking a sweat. My only regret is that I did not get my last computer from Audeum. My Audeum computer is the best value of any piece of equipment in my studio. It is a pleasure to deal with Ladia and I will be a repeat Audeum customer.
